Taking Baby to the Beach
68
Just because you have a baby now, it doesn't mean you have to put your beach days on hiatus. Going to the beach with your baby is easier than you think. You just need a good stroller with a basket, the jogging type works best, but anything with a basket on the bottom will do. The key is to pack smartly. Take a towel, sunscreen, favorite book, snack and water in your beach bag. You can also put a couple of diapers, wipes and formula and/or food, if your baby needs any, in the bag. An umbrella is very essential, so make sure you have a lightweight one with a high SPF. If you are within walking distance of the beach just gather all your things and pack them into the stroller. Put the bags into the basket, hang the chair by sliding it onto the stroller's handle bar and put the baby into the stroller, then hang the umbrella over your shoulder and off you go! If you have to drive to the beach, just put all your things in the car and when you get to the beach parking lot just pack the stroller as noted above and you are ready to roll on over to the beach. If you have a few extra things you need to take then get some of those plastic mini hangers made for strollers, you can hang almost anything from those. Also keep in mind that once you hit the sand it is easier to pull the stroller backwards, just as you would a golf cart. With these beach packing tips, you should be on your way to many fun beach days with baby this summer. Make sure to put on lots of sunscreen on both of you and keep well under the shade.

Its good to take the baby to the beach, they also have diapers for swimming. the only bad thing is cleaning the sand off of them and you gotta make sure they aren't eating it.
